Summary: Selphy is Lacking
Comment: I purchased this as a new item but was sent a used item. For that reason this review may be more critical than others. The printer is not as easy to carry along as a earlier HP photo printer I had purchased because of the, sometimes hard to load, paper tray that must be inserted in the front. The pictures do print within the minute as advertised, however there seems to be little green dots that occasionally show up on some of the prints. They do print dry to the touch unlike the sometime sticky print from ink jet type printers. Positives are the less expensive paper (108 prints for less than $30) and ink cartridges, however, the cartridges only print a max of 36 pictures which means if you are planning to be mobile, more things to carry.

Comment: I absolutely love this printer, we had bought one and ordered another one as a gift. It is extremely easy to use and prints absolutely great photos! I do not like to have to read a huge manual to operate something. This was so self=explanatory I had it up and running in less than five minutes. Photoworld was great to deal with, first printer arrived damaged in the mail, and they immediately sent a new one. Very pleased with entire transaction and product!

Every time I walk into a Pharmacy that has one of those photo printers, it's usually broken, and I can't get the prints I want conveniently. This thing is good to have around for when you want some prints. While not shown in my video, the white edges are perforated, and come off of the print, leaving you with a traditional 4x6 size, with postcard markings on the reverse side. The unit also has a built in cord, if you'd rather connect directly to PictBridge or Direct Print compatible camera. It's easiest to simply use a memory stick or SD card.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful pictures
Comment: After struggling with an older photo printer that never really had a good picture I was totally delighted with the pictures from my Selphy. I couldn't have expected clearer, more precise pictures from my old 35 millimeter camera (developed and printed at the drug store). I was also pleased with the fact that the picture prices, when the paper and ink costs were factored in, were very reasonable. The only drawback is the size but if you want larger photos there are always the machines at the local drug store.
