I've had this little flash drive for over a year and used it to transport data back and forth between my home and work computers. One day I realized I'd misplaced it, and was horrified to find it on the bottom of my washing machine. I had apparently left it in a pocket and it went through the wash. I didn't bother to try the soggy drive, figuring it was ruined, so I put it aside for a week or so. However, when I later plugged it in, I was thrilled to see it seemed none the worse for wear, and neither was the data that was stored on it. That was back in July. Great little inexpensive, solidly made storage device. I just ordered three more.... Customer Rating: Summary: review of kingston data traveler Comment: you get what you pay for. i saved a whole ton of info on this only to get to a client's office and was able to retreive only half of my files. it is not a viable cost-effective option and i'd rather spend a lot more $$$ on a USB traveler if I know it's going to work.
