I have used Transcend SD cards before and they are very efficient. Never had the problem of losing any data or pictures. FAIR WARNING THOUGH: MAKE SURE YOUR EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS OR IS COMPATIBLE WITH AN SDHC. READ YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL BEFORE SWITCHING TO THIS CARD. If your equipment is ONLY compatible with REGULAR SD (not SDHC), just stick with SD. Otherwise you might find out the hard way like I did. I still gave this card a 5-star because the compatibility issues was my mistake. This was compatible with my newer camera but not the card reader in my laptop and my older cameras. It shows up under "settings" in Kindle and I have had absolutely perfect performance from it saving Kindle books to it and reloading them to my Kindle.
