The Wii Component Cable links your Wii console to your TV, allowing you to view and enjoy your games with the best possible image display. Component video splits the signal into three separate channels of video information for the ultimate connection quality. The cable includes five connectors - three for video, and two for left and right stereo audio.

Customer Rating: Summary: Wii official component video cable - works as intended Comment: This review is for the official Nintendo Wii component cable. I purchased this cable to add a second setup for the wii in a bedroom and still keep the original cables hooked up to a big screen TV. The only reason I purchased the component cables was the price. I wasn't expecting any improved video quality because the Wii is limited to 480p video output.
Customer Rating: Summary: Video image improved Comment: Images are sharper using this cable. I was able to plug this cable into the back of my A/V receiver without extensions. Product as described.
Customer Rating: Summary: Do not buy non-Nintendo cable! Comment: After having trouble with cables made by other companies, I decided to order the official Nintendo cable. Simply put, it works. It is reliable.
Customer Rating: Summary: Considering the Wii is not HD, this does a good job. Comment: The Nintendo Wii component cables do a good job for what the system is capable of. It certainly clears up the picture, versus the RCA plugs. The cable is long enough for just about any set up. It is a thick, well shielded cable, and I have not experienced any interference from other cables in the vicinity.
If you have a TV with component inputs then it is well worth the increase in picture quality.
Customer Rating: Summary: Try the 3rd party Comment: Works fine, except you can't spread out the audio cables from the video cables by more than about 6-8". This makes running video to your TV and audio below to a receiver impossible w/o having to buy coax audio extender cables. Just plain dumb. The standard cords that come w/the Wii allow you to split the wires as much as needed.
