The VG Pocket is a portable gaming system that comes pre-loaded with an impressive package of games at a price that pretty much anybody can easily afford. 25 Classic games, including Frogger, are built-in to play anytime using the VG Pocket Handheld game system. There are no cartridges to buy.
Controls surround a bright, backlit 2" LCD color screen for easy (though challenging) gameplay. Want to play at home? It has a connector port to hook to your TV with AV cables. In addition to the arcade classic, Frogger, the game collection also includes Whack the Critter, River Quest, Vitamania, Mutant Hunt, Lord of the Jewels, Sudoku Quiz, Mr. Onion, Billiards Master, Memory Matching, and more for a total of 25 entertaining games that will keep you playing for hours.

Summary: All Ages Had Fun with This Gift!
Comment: From the 7yr olds to the teens (who we had a hard time prying away from) even the adults had fun playing with these things.
Took them on our Christmas vacation and now so many people have asked for them for next year if they go on a good sale again.
The graphics for the size screen seem ok enough though i would not allow the kids to play more than 20 min at a time before taking a break.
The selection of games seems to be good for everyone to find something they like to play.
The teens would all get to the same game and try to beat each others scores.
Funny thing was they were all talking about how much fun the games were and wished some came on their other systems.
Huge hit with all ages in our group.

Comment: I gave 3 of these games away as Christmas gifts to guys over 30. They liked it and even the kids did. Screen is too small. Lots of games and easy to play.

Summary: GREAT STOCKING STUFFER!
Comment: I got this game player originally as a stocking stuffer but ended up giving it as a birthday present instead because I bought 2 more. The price was right on this item and the 25 game options was the BEST selling feature.
The games are easy to figure out for a 6 year old but not so much for a 36 year old apparently...*LOL!*
My daughter was thrilled and she's been playing it non-stop. The player is perfect for small hands and the buttons are easy to navigate. The screen is quite impressive for the size and with some added rechargeable batteries, it is the perfect gift for a child!!!
As a mother, I am quite impressed with myself for picking out a gift a that my daughter enjoys!!! She shares with her older sister and sometimes they will play two player games together. Which is ideal for the times we are out running errands.

I think the Frogger game is the best and it looks exactly like the game did all those years ago. It is fun watching your child enjoy the same games you did when you were her age... So, I highly recommend this item!
I bought two other game players and I now know they will be a big hit on Christmas! They are the perfect stocking stuffers!!!

Summary: Great little game for the price
Comment: This has a lot of fun games. They are simple to learn, but challenging enough to entertain. Three caveats. First, the screen is small so you will need good eyes, or need to wear your glasses. Second, it requires three aaa ALKALINE batteries. You can use rechargeable batteries, but you will get lines on the display because of the lower voltage. Third, the instructions for the games don't provide much information. It does not, however, take long to figure out the basics. There is a good selection of games, from a pool game, which doesn't rush you, to shooters, where the bad guys will get you if you are too slow. I plan to get a couple more for Christmas presents.
