Comment: This headphones are great.. I'm a dj and when got these for the time i was totally stunned for the comfort and quality of the sound.. They really have external noise reduction as any other. If your are looking for sound quality and comfort this technics got what you need.

Comment: Very disappointed in these phones, but then, Panasonic isn't really known for speakers and headphones, I suppose. I have a pair of the "gold standard" headphones, the Koss PRO4-AAs, and they are SO much better than the Panasonic (for which I had high hopes) or most anything else!

Summary: THEY ARE OK HEADPHONES
Comment: I dj in some house parties for fun. I used pioneer hdj 1000 and they broke in 5 months. I loved them, the quality was amazing but since they broke I was mad. So I decided to try a different brand with the same quality. I made a long research coz dj headphones are expensive, they should be durable. I found out that Technics is good and I saw almost 5 stars out of 55 peoples voting. I bought it and it is nice. It is not better than pioneer for the sound especially for the base but I can easily write that technics has more comfort coz It is slightly bigger. Your ear gets inside of it. Somehow Technics doesn't have as good sound blocking as pioneer but they are almost equal. I recommend you to buy pioneer hdj 1000 if you are gonna dj. One-ear listening to sync the rhythm is better with pioneer. Pioneer is lighter, more flexible, better base, better sound quality, better material and better style. But if you are gonna work in studio and if you are not gonna need a lot of flexibility technics should be fine. I should also write that the more flexibility it has the better chance it brakes because of more pressure on the material. I am not making advertisement for pioneer or doing propaganda for it. I am just trying to help by giving you a different option. I hope this review helps. Good luck.

Summary: Decent sound, not comfortable
Comment: This is my first pair of decent headphones for bedroom djing. So far the sound seems to be pretty good, but I don't find them too comfortable. Granted I can't compare these to other similar headphones. Also, I think comfort is very relative, depending on the shape of your head, whether you wear glasses (I do) and other factors. That said, I find that I can't wear these headphones for too long without my ears, neck, and top of my head feeling uncomfortable. For novices like myself in the market for headphones, I would strongly recommend trying them on (and using them for an extended period, if possible) before buying them.
