I ordered the pyle pro pp-999 from Amazon after having done some research and I must say I am not disappointed. It was super easy to hook up and the sound is great and heck - the price is right. Easy to install although it was tricky . I had a buzz at first but decided to try and hook up the extra wire that runs with the turntable .I hooked it up to the chasy of the preamp and it was dead quiet . All was good from there .It would have been nice if it had some adjustability as the turntable sound was lower than the tuner and CD . Overall I was still satisfied . Customer Rating: Summary: Does an excellent job for the right price Comment: Finally the old amp I have been using for phono records died - and the new(er) amp I use for all my other stereo and TV needs does not have a suitable impedance/level to accept phono input. I looked for a new amp with phono inputs, but the few available are all big $$$ items - and I begrudge it the real estate and more complex wiring it would bring to my system. So when I finally found this little baby which boosts the phono level to match what is expected by the other inputs on the amp - it was just the ticket at minimal cost or extra complexity or wiring.
